We plumb in a static relief valve on dirt pools. The valve allows groundwater to "squirt" into the pool rather than lifting the shell from the ground. It is almost never needed, but better safe than sorry.

We removed the corral and are now ready to backfill up to our plumbing run.
The return line (where the clean water is returned to the pool) and the main drain (dirty water headed back to the equipment room) are pictured here.
Here you see the return line continuing around the pool and the skimmer line heading to the equipment room. The Equipment room is right under that concrete deck at the pool's shallow end.
After we finish the plumbing and pressure test, we finish the backfill and tamp it down.
