String lines and top board set.
Ready for application of browncoat.
So we set up a tent and a heater.
We do this to ensure they are smooth & plumb, ready for tile or plaster.
After the wals have been done, we then ensure the top of the bench and steps are smooth and flat.
In the last picture you see that we also use siding boards to get a straigh line for our waterline tile.
The tile looks great in the sun...can't wait to see this project all finished up.
Precast coping adds a nice refined look to the project. The day we set these was obviously cloudy.
