Main drain covers were removed.
We chipped from under the waterline tile so our new plaster would finish flush to the tile.
Bond Kote is a fine cement that we are able to apply with paint rollers to cover and seal old plaster, leaving a coat that the new plaster will be able to adhere to.
We core drilled new holes to install cups for the ladder.
We applied Bond Kote over the old plaster and tile on steps, laying new tile ontop of Bond Kote.
To protect waterline tile from the plaster, we taped it off.
After everything is covered in plastic or taped off, we begin plastering the stairs and walls, and then the floor.
Once we apply the first layer of plaster, we wait until almost hardened before we go back and finish.
